Often times when we hear the words "Italian food" our mind conjures up a picture of a huge bowl piled with curled spaghetti. We use this pasta as a vehicle to soak up all the delicious tomato sauce on our plates.
But what if we made an entree so mouth watering on it's own, there would be no need for all those noodles?
Warm and buttery, soft and sweet....what's not to absolutely LOVE about baked apples in fall? Autumn is the season for all things apple and today we are working with honey crisps.
I find them to be the perfect balance of sweet and tart. But feel free to experiment with the plethora of apple varieties available in your local grocery store!!
