These simple yet drool-worthy treats were perfect to satisfy my sweet tooth while roaming around the huge fairgrounds. Oven baked apples cored and en-robed in fresh dough, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar then fried & topped with a scoop of vanilla bean icecream. The perfect pizza at home? Why bother?! It's never crisp enough, cheezy enough or as good as the local pizza place....right? Wrong, my friends. So very wrong.
Today, I had the pleasure of being introduced to the G.E. Advantium Oven. With absolutely ZERO preheating and not a single specialty pizza pan in sight, I made the most mouth-watering artisan pizza you could hope for.
Many of us grew up eating Beef Stroganoff. With it's hearty mushrooms and chunks of beef, what's not to love? The pairing of stroganoff sauce with egg noodles is a classic and stands well all by itself.

Often we forget how simple foods can bring about the best memories. How the smell of garlic reminds you of your granddad or the texture of pasta takes you back to being a 20 yr old college student eating over the sink in your dorm once more.
I think we need MORE simplicity in our lives. Especially on a week night. And this recipe provides just that. Pasta meet garlic and parm.
