Berry compote sounds fancy, right?!
I promise you the concept is simple. Toss a few fresh or frozen berries into a pan and add a little water to get a sauce going. Sweeten with sugar and optionally spice with cinnamon or ginger.
For this version I went with raspberries, blueberries & strawberries with a splash of lemon juice for a fresh citrus touch!

Easter: Baked Ham with Cherry Glaze
Fresh herbs are the star of this delectable spring sauce! Dill & parsley blended together to create a vibrant, fresh tasting and versatile sauce that pairs perfectly with grilled fish, pasta and as we will do here: over a tomato and mozzarella salad.
In a blender, puree the dill, parsley, water, shallot, mustard, vinegar and garlic. With the machine on, gradually add the canola oil and puree until smooth. Season with salt. Drizzle over a mozzarella-tomato salad.
